Students Placement Profile
The Placement Cell of Imayam Institute of Agriculture anorganized with Technology, Thuraiyur with the area of 540 sq.ft has been undertaking placement process from the year 2013 onwards. The following placement initiatives were taken for the benefit of students.
Placement Initiatives
- Coaching for Competitive Examinations were given in collaboration with Trichy NR IAS Academy
- Special lectures were given by the market executives, financial officers/Research experts, farmers agricultural students currently occupying higher position NGO,s and private input dealers
- Arranged interaction meeting with experts
- Conducted model group discussion
- The private firm Bio Green Tech (Pollachi) was called for conducting campus interview on 07.04.2018.
On account of these, 51% of the B.Sc. (Agri.) graduates secured employment in various private and public sector firms and Institutions viz., Union Bank, Bank of India, Canara Bank, IFFO, Rasi Seeds, Bayer, etc. The details of placements of alumni of IIAT, Thuraiyur are as follows:
